Driving skills, dignity, and opportunity for women in Kenya’s transport sector.
Women Commercial Drivers Association of Kenya (WCDAK) is a worker-led society dedicated to advancing the rights, opportunities, and visibility of women in the transport sector. We bring together drivers, transport workers, and allies to create a safer, fairer, and more inclusive industry.
We are dedicated to protecting the rights, welfare, and dignity of women in commercial driving.
Our policies ensure that members operate with integrity, passengers travel safely, and women’s voices are heard in transport reforms.
For too long, women have been unfairly perceived as poor drivers or as people who cannot handle mechanics, often being pictured with the wrong tools for the job.
At WCDAK, we are rewriting this narrative. We equip women with the right skills, knowledge, and support to excel as professional drivers, mechanics, and leaders in the transport sector.
Promoting safety, inclusion equality, and professionalism for women in Kenya’s transport sector.
